The Drau cycle path.

From the world-famous Drei Zinnen at Toblach/Dobbiaco, cycle alongside the Drau through the sunny town of Lienz, from the beautiful Upper Drau to the cultural town of Spittal, from the lively town of Villach to the landscape gardens of the Rosental Valley, from the gunsmith town of Ferlach to the dreamy Jaun Valley, from the border towns of Lavamünd and Dravograd to the university city of Maribor, where the Pannonian Plains begin and you finally reach Varaždin.

The connecting force of the river. The Drau cycle path leads through natural areas of international importance and guarantees optimal mobility, as it lies alongside the southern railway line. It connects warm, alpine bathing lakes with rugged mountain formations, lively towns with sleepy villages, diversity with beauty and quality. The Drau cycle path was the first eBike cycle path in Europe to be awarded 5 stars.

Young, easy-going and free. The Drau cycle path takes you towards the laid-back South with its joie de vivre, pampering you with borderless cultural riches and regional cuisine in the tri-border area of Austria, Italy and Slovenia. There are so many beautiful spots that invite you to take a rest at the water's edge - alongside the Drau and its tributaries, next to cascading waterfalls, shimmering green cut-off lakes, mighty dams and glistening bathing lakes.
